Vacancy Announcement Terre des homes Foundation Italy, an Italian Non Governmental Organization, is inviting applications for the following positions under the project titled “Promoting safe migration and local development in four districts in Bangladesh through awareness raising, skills development and institutional capacity building”. The goal of the project is to contribute to curb illegal migration thus reducing risks of exploitation, increase the integration of Bangladeshi migrants in both transit and receiving European countries and improve the socio-economic development of Bangladesh through a better management of the migration process. It is co-funded by European Commission. Position: Monitoring Officers Job Description / Responsibilities - Based in each of the 4 working areas of the project – Barisal, Brahambaria, Shariatpur, Dhaka - they carry out regular visits to the project activities and report to the Project Coordinator;
- Contribute to the definition and fine tuning of the monitoring guidelines and tools;
- Collect qualitative and quantitative data and information by using different participatory methods in co-ordination with the implementing partner’s staff;
- Assist in the analysis of data and information;
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, annually and specific activity reports as and when required
- Monitor the project work plan and the achievement of results.
Educational Requirements: MSS in Social Science / Equivalent from any recognized University/ Institutions. Additional Job Requirements: - Excellent interpersonal skills, good skills in report writing in English and Computer skills (MS Office) are a must.
- Good knowledge of quantitative research methods and excellent analytical and presentation skills.
- High level of professional and personal integrity.
